Traditional exercise spaces are typically not serene or beautiful. Activities in such facilities also tend to be rote and repetitious, leaving members feeling like a product in a factory rather than an essential, interactive element at the center of a dynamic and beautiful place in time. That's why many of us choose to exercise outside in a natural setting.

But what do you do when the weather is bad, you can't get outside or you need guidance? We believe that traditional approaches to physical activity neglect the needs of many, remain only tolerable to others and cater to some.

The Fitness in Motion approach is based on movement education for body and mind, and it is designed to allow movement to be expressed in a variety of ways, with virtually unlimited range to keep things interesting, fun and at the appropriate level of challenge. It is a new wellness activity and performance training concept based on movement, elegance and harmony.

Meet our Fitness in Motion Instructors:


Mike Cole

With a Master’s Degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University, Mike has 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. He has been certified by the American College of Sports Medicine and has studied Pilates and other integrated movement techniques including Kinesis™. He has traveled the country over the past 8 years consulting with fitness facility operators and studying physical activity programming of all types.

Early in his career, Mike worked as an Assistant Exercise Physiologist at the Stanford Center for Research in Disease Prevention’s Health Improvement Program and the University of California’s Community Healthy Activities Model Project for Seniors. As a graduate assistant he taught college physical education courses in soccer and weight training. A former college soccer player, Mike has maintained his enthusiasm for physical activity by continuing to play soccer, competing in triathlons, and running, riding bicycles and swimming recreationally. He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching his boys play soccer.

Geoff Edwards

Geoff graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a Bachelor’s degree in Fitness & Sports Management. Being a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise for over 13 years, a Fitness Director, and Fitness Coach, he has trained individuals from ages 8 to 88. Geoff enjoys working with all ages and abilities; whether you are a weekend warrior looking to improve your game and reduce your chances of injury, a senior looking to improve strength and balance, or want to lose those extra pounds, he can come up with a Kinesis program to match your goals!



Kim Ingraham


Since graduation from the University of Maine in 1994 with a B.S. in Exercise Science, Kim has been deeply involved in the field of Health & Fitness. She is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, International Fitness Professional Association-Sports Nutrition, Corefit Pilates, and the YMCA. Kim has over a decade of experience with developing and teaching a wide range of fitness programs and has a strong background in Pilates.

Kim enjoys working one on one with all types of people, from serious athletes to active older adults, to help accomplish their goals. Her true passion for sport and activity carries over to her family life. With a very active family of 4 there is usually a golf game or hockey tournament planned, and down time usually means exploring and camping in a new part of Idaho. Whether your goal is sports specific or fall prevention she is confident you will find the Kinesis™ principles a valuable experience and a challenge that keeps you coming back for more.
